About Affordable Pool & Deck

We renovate pools and the decks around them in Palm Beach and Broward County. The idea is simple: the pool and the deck share an edge, so they should share a plan.

Why pool and deck, together

Most South Florida backyards were built with the pool and the deck at the same time. Twenty or thirty years later they usually wear out at the same time too: the finish turns rough and stained, the waterline tile loosens, the coping cracks, and the deck around it gets hot, uneven or patched.

When those jobs are done separately, by different crews, the seams show. A new deck gets laid against old coping. A new finish goes in, and then the pool has to be drained again for tile. Colors get picked months apart. Doing it as one job means one drain, one protection plan, one schedule and one set of choices made side by side.

That does not mean everyone needs everything. Plenty of pools only need a new finish, and plenty of decks only need repairs and a sealer. Part of the job is telling you which is which.

How we work

  • We look at the pool and the deck in person before we put a number on anything.
  • The written quote lists the scope line by line: what comes out, what goes in, the materials and colors, and the order of work.
  • We check HOA and permit requirements for your address before a start date is set.
  • If we find something under the old surface that changes the job, we stop and talk to you before doing extra work.
  • We tell you when a cheaper fix is the right fix.

What we will not do

We will not quote a pool we have not seen, promise a finish will last a set number of years regardless of how the water is kept, or put a coating over a slab that is moving and call it fixed. We also do not post reviews or numbers we cannot back up. As customers finish their projects, their own words will go on this site, with their permission.
